Friday, 5th September - Denver
Our day started with a stroll up 17th Street into the Lower Downtown, LoDo, area and to Union Station, now a hospitality hub as well as a railway station (and I have forgotten, if I ever knew, how to rotate pictures in the blog!):
After the bus tour we walked back down 16th Street to the wonderful Museum of Illusions where we spent a fun hour and a half having our minds and perceptions challenged:
After a refreshing lunchtime stop (peaches 'n' cream milkshakes) we embarked on a two hour minibus tour of the highlights of Denver in the capable hands of our entertaining and informative driver, Jared:

Supper in the evening at Giordano's Italian restaurant on California Street rounded the day off perfectly.
