Sunday, 14th September - Yellowstone (105 miles)
Today we toured the southern loop road of Yellowstone National Park (along with lots of other people!)
Onwards then to the famous Old Faithful Geyser which, right on time, erupted right in front of us for 3/4 minutes:
On the way back to the lodge we stopped to view a wolf, a coyote, a bear and another herd of bison - just another day in Yellowstone!
There were lots of wonderful sights and smells.
We did a quick detour to view the Virginia Cascades before parking up at the Norris Geyser Basin:
A boardwalk enabled us to walk right out and amongst the landscape that seemed almost alive.
We moved on to the Artists Paintpots:
From there was a brief stop at Gibbon Falls before entering a very busy Grand Prizmatic Spring:
